This position is with the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics & Technology), Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (Procurement), Arlington VA. You will serve as a senior procurement analyst in the office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Procurement DASA(P) in support of the following major areas: procurement management and support, procurement policy, operational contracting support, enterprise business systems and operations, procurement oversight, and career management. Will be responsible for recommending, initiating, developing and implementing contracting policies, strategies, procedures, guidance and control for the Army. Develops contracting policy and guidance for the Department of the Army concerning all contracting functions. Participates in the review of acquisition programs. May serve as the focal point for Army cost, pricing and finance issues. Reviews the operations of purchasing and contracting activities world-wide to assess their efficiency and effectiveness.
