Bet on a clothes horse at Virginia Gold Cup

Social Studies

Washingtonians head to Virginia every October to sip (a mint julep is the signature cocktail!) and be seen at the annual running of International Gold Cup. The horses often take a backseat to the fashion scene that’s as crisp as the leaves crunching underfoot out in The Plains. From bow ties, boots and everything in betweed, race goers can always bet on the clothes horses stealing the show.  Social Studies suggests these looks if you’re planning a day at the races…
