Survey: U.S. insurers earned $1B in cyber premiums last year

U.S. insurers took in almost $1 billion in premiums last year for writing cybersecurity policies, according to new figures from credit analysts at Fitch Ratings.

Randall Conway has been appointed to the senior executive service and is assigned as principal director for command, control, communications and computers, and information infrastructure in the Office of the Department of Defense Chief Information Officer.
Conway previously served as a management and program analyst in the DOD’s chief information officer's office.
Earlier this month, Charles Beames, who was previously in that position, was promoted to the SES and assigned as principal director for space and intelligence within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for acquisition, technology and logistics.
