Mr. Hahn is the Associate Director for Public Sector Enterprise Architecture. He is responsible for architecting and end to end infrastructure solutions that leverage all of Verizon’s services (wireless, cloud, security, network, communications) to Verizon's Federal, DoD, Intelligence, State, Local, and Higher Education. He has over 20 years experience in delivering distributed, secure IT solutions to meet a variety of commercial and public business requirements (e.g., defense, healthcare, security, and computing). His past experience includes supporting the federal government in migrating from older technologies and implementing advanced technologies to address specific programmatic requirements.
Hahn graduated from Kansas State University with a Masters Degree in Computer Science with a focus on distributed computing. During his time as a Captain in the USAF, he was the Air Force's program lead for securing the information infrastructure for both the ground based and spaced based assets associated with the Strategic Defense Initiative. While at Booz, Allen & Hamilton he led the team that supported the USDA in their migration of all 50 states from Food Stamps and AFDC paper based process to an electronic funds transfer approach. Hahn also lead teams at SAIC and Trap Systems in applying advanced computing and algorithm techniques to identify fraud in both the Medicare and Medicaid programs.
