Simmons has over more than 25 years of experience in sales and high technology products. Prior to Brocade, Simmons was the Vice President of Sales at Solera Networks, where he was instrumental in directing Solera's strategy in becoming a market leader for Cyber Security network analytics and forensics solutions. (Solera was acquired by Blue Coat in 2013). Prior to this Simmons was Director of Federal Sales at Bit9 (End Point Security), Vice President, North American Field Operations at Oblix (leading provider of Identity Management solutions, acquired by Oracle in 2005). Simmons is a seasoned professional who brings with him extensive experience in Enterprise Security and Cyber Security having built successful organizations in both large organizations and start-up companies. Simmons holds a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Maryland.
