Siva Valliappan is the Vice President of Product Management at Brocade responsible for their Campus networking practice covering Brocade's family of fixed and modular enterprise Ethernet switches as well as wireless lan partnerships. Siva leads the team that has delivered on the market leading ICX family which delivers unparalleled performance in enterprise edge connectivity while driving down total cost of ownership via innovative functionality such as campus fabrics and the only complete campus SDN offering.

Prior to Brocade, Siva was with Cisco as Director of Product Management and was responsible for the strategy, product management, and marketing direction of Software, Cloud Management and Borderless Network Services of Cisco's family of enterprise Ethernet fixed switching solutions. He was also Cisco's first product manager of IOS Security and subsequently built Cisco's IOS Security solutions and product management team. Siva holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Santa Clara University and is a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (#2929) in Routing and Switching.
