Justice seeks CIO for Immigration Review office

The Department of Justice Executive Office for Immigration Review is looking for a chief information officer. The job pays between $123,758 and $155,500 per year and is open for applications until February 4.

This position is located in the Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), Office of Planning, Analysis and Technology, Office of Information Resources Management. The incumbent serves as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) responsible for the design, development, operation, maintenance and integration of a complete range of information systems for supporting EOIR in day-to day operations. The CIO serves as EOIR’s Chief advisor on all issues relating to information technology management.

The incumbent is responsible for overall leadership in the effort to provide effective information resources management and quality information services.  The functions aligned under the CIO  include electronic government initiatives; development, operation and maintenance of all  computer hardware, software, and peripheral equipment; network development and maintenance; telecommunications systems; and information security to ensure that the integrity and confidentiality of data is maintained.
