Microsoft Promotes Greg Myers to Vice President of Federal Sales

It was announced today that Greg Myers, a sales management veteran with more than 24 years of management experience in the tech industry, has been promoted to Vice President of Federal Sales at Microsoft.

Greg replaces Teresa Carlson who left Microsoft to lead Amazon Web Services Worldwide Public Sector last November.

Greg has been at Microsoft for over two years. Prior to his promotion, he held the position of GM of US Federal Civilian and Healthcare Sales. Prior to Microsoft, Greg held several impressive management positions including Vice President of Sales at Oracle, Vice President of Managed Services at BearingPoint and Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Approva Corporation.

He’s known for being an energetic, team player as well as a very disciplined and focused straight shooter among his peers and teams. Greg is also very well liked inside and outside of the organization and the combination of his ability to rally a team as well as his solid track record of success must have sealed the deal for hiring manager Public Sector VP Curt Kolcun.
