Nominations now open for the FedScoop 50 Awards

FedScoop opened nominations for its FedScoop 50 Awards this week, inviting members of the federal government to submit votes for the top leader who has made a lasting impact in the federal IT community.

FedScoop opened nominations for its FedScoop 50 Awards this week, inviting members of the federal government to submit votes for the top leaders who have made a lasting impact in the federal IT community.

The FedScoop 50 Awards recognize the top 50 leaders from government and industry who have leveraged technology, and have made significant contributions to the community and country. Nominations can be submitted via FedScoop.com through Aug. 8.

“Each year, the FedScoop 50 Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of the top leaders in the federal IT community,” said Goldy Kamali, founder and CEO. “FedScoop 50 is a wonderful opportunity to extend recognition to the leaders that have paved the way in cybersecurity, technology advances and accelerating the IT modernization of government.”

Nomination categories include the following: Golden Gov: Executive of the Year; Federal Leadership; Industry Leadership; Disruptor of the Year; Cybersecurity Leader of the Year; Innovation of the Year; Tech Champion of the Year; Tech Program of the Year; and Most Inspiring Up & Comers To Watch.

In 2015, more than 250,000 votes were cast to select the top 50 individuals from among more than 1,000 submissions. Nominations can be submitted beginning June 28 through Aug. 8, and voting will be open from Aug. 15 through Sept. 16. Award recipients will be announced on Tuesday, Oct. 4 at the FedScoop 50 Awards Reception
