Kathy Conrad is Director, Digital Government for Accenture Federal Services, responsible for leading Accenture's digital strategy and shaping digital government solutions to improve citizen services for federal agencies.
Previously, she served as Deputy Associate Administrator of the GSA Office of Citizen Services and Innovative Technologies (OCSIT) and as Principal Deputy Associate Administrator during her four years at GSA. She was a leading champion of open, digital government at OCSIT and for services that enhanced citizen interaction and experience with government.
During her tenure, she spearheaded efforts to increase innovation and operational effectiveness across government, including initiatives behind USA.gov, Data.gov, Challenge.gov, FedRAMP (Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program) and 18F, a lean digital services start-up team.
Prior to joining GSA, she was Senior Vice President with Jefferson Consulting Group, a leading business and government consulting firm, where she was responsible for leading the firm's strategic direction and client engagements, and managed federal marketing and assistive technology consulting for Praxis, Inc.
She served as Industry Chair of the ACT-IAC Executive Leadership Conference (ELC) in 2010 and was recognized for her leadership with Federal 100 awards in 2013 and 2011. Ms. Conrad has a B.A. from Wesleyan University in Biology-Psychology.
