Just in time for New York Fashion Week, the world leaders of chromo released its 2014 list of hot hues. Shades fall under the stem of Radiant Orchid -- the 2014 Color of the Year -- varying in tones of violet and red, with a dash of warm yellow for good measure.
For women, Sangria is the No. 1 color for autumn. It's described as "an exotic red that evokes a sense of glamorous adventures and faraway destinations" and pairs perfectly with Aurora Red, which is considered more sophisticated.
Because there has been a gradual shift toward a unisex color palette in recent fashion seasons, men can wear Aurora Red too, but the top tone for men is Sea Fog, a more masculine shade of Mauve Mist.
