Despite concerns in Congress, tracking data can help students

New York City is the latest district to adopt a student performance data tracker, linking student attendance and exam records to see if kids are on track to graduate.

What are you currently working on?
"Some of the large problems we are solving is to deploy IPv6 across the federal government. That means all our public facing websites by September need to utilize IPv6. In my world that’s analogous to a moon shot. We are also – at the urging of the administration – looking to develop value membership models for our investments. We’re being asked to do more with less so that means we need to be able to evaluate everything we’re doing and select only those things that yield the highest benefit to the department."
