Low salaries, background checks hinder FBI’s cybersecurity recruitment

The FBI cannot compete with the private sector when it comes to attracting top cybersecurity talent, according to a new FBI OIG report.

What are you currently working on?
"Some of the large problems we are solving is to deploy IPv6 across the federal government. That means all our public facing websites by September need to utilize IPv6. In my world that’s analogous to a moon shot. We are also – at the urging of the administration – looking to develop value membership models for our investments. We’re being asked to do more with less so that means we need to be able to evaluate everything we’re doing and select only those things that yield the highest benefit to the department."
