Chip Copper holds a PhD in Distributed Systems and is a frequently requested presenter and consultant in the technology industry discussion on how to solve real world challenges with network, storage, and management tolls and infrastructure. As a Global Solutions Architect at Brocade, Chip has experience with a number of data center technologies including storage, virtualization, infrastructure, emerging technology and next generation data center architecture. With more than 30 years of experience in program management and information systems, he has a broad technical background that includes designing and building microprocessor-based controllers, designing operations systems, developing custom languages, producing compilers, specifying and deploying both telecommunications and IP networks, and developing and writing distributed applications on a range of platforms from simple processors to supercomputers. Mr. Copper has also consulted to the financial industry and managed projects from initial concept to deployment.
