Greg Garcia

Mr. Garcia serves as the Executive Director of the U.S. Army Information Technology Agency (ITA) under the Office of the Administrative Assistant to the Secretary of the Army. As the Executive Director, Mr. Garcia is responsible for directing ITA in providing a full range of customer-focused, economical, reliable, and secure information technology (IT) and communications capabilities and services. Mr. Garcia is committed to supporting the mission success of the Headquarters Department of the Army, Department of Defense (DoD) activities in the Pentagon and select activities in the National Capital Region. The Executive Director has an extensive background in strategic communications, Information Assurance, policy development, and systems lifecycle management. Mr. Garcia previously served as the Deputy Director, Strategic Communications (J9), U.S. Forces-Iraq, U.S. Central Command Baghdad, Iraq.
