Michael Bushong

Michael Bushong is Brocade’s Vice President of Datacenter Routing and Switching. In this role, he has responsibility for defining strategy and product direction for Brocade’s datacenter IP portfolio, covering Brocade’s major routing and switching hardware platforms as well as its BNA network management product. Michael joins Brocade having most recently served as head of marketing at datacenter switch startup Plexxi. Prior to Plexxi, Michael spent 12 years at Juniper Networks, most recently running product strategy, management, and marketing for Juniper’s flagship operating system Junos. Notably, Michael spent several years leading Juniper’s SDN and NFV efforts across both service provider and enterprise markets, placing him among the vendor firsts to aggressively pursue the technology. Additionally, Michael has been recognized for his blogging and social media contributions in the SDN space, having been listed as one of the industry’s top bloggers and Twitter handles to follow.
