Eric McCarty
Eric McCarty is Vice President, Mobile Product Marketing for Samsung Business at Samsung Electronics America. His current role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including the management of all product marketing and planning for mobility products (smartphones, tablets, and PCs) in the US market.
Eric was formerly the Vice President of Enterprise Channel Sales at Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile). In that role he managed a wide range of responsibilities, including the management of all sell thru or sell with sales channels. Specifically, Eric looked after Carrier Sales, Reseller Sales, Alliance Sales, and Prosumer/SMB Sales from an Enterprise perspective for Samsung Mobile products in the US.
Additionally, Eric is responsible for business planning and enablement support for Mobility products across all sale channels.
Previously, Eric held public sector and channel sales positions at Research in Motion (RIM), Sprint Nextel, and AT&T Wireless Services.
Overall, Eric has more than 15 years of industry sales experience and a history of consistently achieving or exceeded assigned sales quotas.
Based in New York, Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Richmond in Richmond, VA.
