The General Services Administration cited the organization’s support for “LGBTQ+ advocacy, feminism, and climate alarmism” among its reasons the nation dropped its membership.

The termination is tied to the administration’s directive to reduce federal bureaucracy, officials said.

The Open Government Federal Advisory Committee will be made up of public and private sector participants experienced in open government and improving government delivery services.
