Sonny Hashmi, managing director, global government at Box, and former CIO at the General Services Administration, met with FedScoop TV during ACT-IAC’s Executive Leadership Conference to discuss how new technology platforms are making it easier to improve security and enhance digital government services.

He also offers his views on the way IT has impacted federal agencies over the past seven years, the need for government to make it easier to do business with innovative companies, and the role FITARA (the Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act) is likely to play in guiding IT investments in the future.
