SAP’s Tahera Zamanzada on data integrity for AI success

Tahera Zamanzada, Executive Advisor for SAP, discussed the challenges of AI adoption in government, emphasizing the importance of trust, transparency and reliable data. She highlighted the need for a “clean core model” focusing on process integrity and data governance. Zamanzada predicted that successful AI implementation in government will depend on agencies transitioning proofs of concept into production and integrating AI as a core system rather than a standalone use case. She warned that laggards will struggle due to inadequate change management, data governance and workforce upskilling.
