Google and Samsung Wallet users can use the licenses to verify their identity, GSA announced, in an effort to combat artificial intelligence-generated deepfakes.
The 988 Lifeline has made progress on cybersecurity but still needs to implement improvements to contingency plans, as well as identity and access controls.
The mid-June breach exposed names, dates of birth, medical testing information, lab test results, health insurance data and partial Social Security numbers, a VA email said.

The agency’s Missing and Murdered Unit will use Clearview AI tools to “rapidly identify and locate missing persons, crime victims, and suspects nationwide,” contracting documents said.
Federal IT leaders across administrations have wanted a single sign-on service. The memo requires the use of Login but does not bar other forms of authentication.
