Casey Coleman, chief information officer, General Services Administration, shares career advice in this FedMentors interview for FedScoopTV.
Excerpt:
“My first government job was at GSA, 11 years ago. I was the deputy associate administrator for the Office of Citizen Services, and it was a very exciting opportunity and the thing I learned from that is that the government does work on a scale that is really unparalleled almost anywhere. The opportunities to be responsible for a program and to be able to do something that really impacts the public and the mission of the organization in a positive way, was a great first federal experience.”
