GPO Expands Government eBook Titles to 200

The Government Printing Office and Google have partnered to expand the number of government eBooks to more than 200 titles that are available through Google’s eBookstore.

The two began partnering last year in an effort to help increase government transparency.

“GPO’s growing eBook market is another example of how the agency has transformed itself to remain relevant and viable in today’s digital age,” said Public Printer Bill Boarman. “The first volume of the Public Papers of the President, Barack Obama is an exciting title that connects the American people with the President. GPO continues to add titles and is always looking to expand to include a variety of topics that appeal to the public.”
