SAP, in partnership with the Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board, is launching a mobile app tomorrow that gives information on Recovery Act projects, CEO Bill McDermott announced at Wednesday’s TechAmerica American Technology Awards at the Reagan Building.
McDermott said the app, called the Transparency Discovery Explorer, will give information on recovery act jobs, where taxpayers dollars are going for these projects and detailed information on the status of the project.
It will be available first for the iPad and iPhone and eventually rolling out to other platforms, McDermott said.

“It’s a fantastic application that shows how the government is working with citizens to make them smarter to where their money is going,” he said.
