Biden to release AI national security memo

The memo will serve “as a formal charter for the AI Safety Institute” and a framework will provide agencies with new guidance, senior officials said.

Bipartisan bill would codify federal standards for agency AI use

House Oversight and Accountability Committee members are co-sponsoring legislation that would consolidate existing AI laws and formalize federal governance of AI systems.
