The Office of Personnel Management created a series of videos profiling winners from the 2011 Samuel J. Heyman Service to American Medals awards, otherwise known as the Sammies. The program pays tribute to the federal workforce, highlighting those with a commitment to their job and for the use of innovation in helping the needs of the nation.
Honorees were recognized at a dinner ceremony on September 15.
