The Department of Labor has launched informACTION App Challenge aimed at finding innovative ways to increase public awareness on the laws to ensure fair and safe workplaces.
Submission deadline is September 14, 2011. The approximate date by which the judging will be complete is September 30, 2011.

The challenge is to utilize inspection and compliance information from the hotel, motel, restaurant and retail industries to help workers and consumers take educated action.
