The Chief Information Officers Council released a report Tuesday that details federal government mobility challenges and barriers, including issues related to privacy, legal, financial, operations and infrastructure.
Based on interviews with 21 federal agencies, the report, “Government Use of Mobile Technology: Barriers, Opportunities, and Gap Analysis,” addresses a federal digital government strategy milestone aimed at evaluating “opportunities to accelerate the secure adoption of mobile technologies into the Federal environment at reduced cost.”
