The federal government’s directory of open data, Data.gov, has publicly released the full source code on which it is based, also know as the Open Government Platform.
The OGPL, a joint project between the United States and India, was developed in Drupal and is now available at GitHub. The release includes a data management system, website and social networking community support.

“OGPL exemplifies a new era of diplomatic collaboration that benefits the global community by promoting government transparency and increasing citizen engagement,” the General Services Administration said announcing the release.
The release coincided with the third anniversary of Data.gov’s launch.
