Good news! By popular demand, we have extended the FedScoop 50 Award nominations by a week, and they will now close on October 22! Make sure to nominate someone for a FedScoop 50 Award to be recognized for their achievements and contributions to the government IT community – and get your nominations in before they close this coming Monday.
The 2012 FedScoop 50 Awards honor the best and the brightest who make the federal government more efficient and effective. This ceremony allows us celebrate the outstanding achievements of our peers and acknowledge their tireless efforts to make a positive impact in the government community and in public service.
Important Deadlines:
- Nominations deadline: Oct. 22
- Voting: Nov. 1 to Nov. 15
- Winners announced: Nov. 28

- Accomplishments should have occurred between October 1, 2011 – October 1, 2012
- Nominated programs must be current government programs

- Fed Innovation of the Year
Honors a new innovation that increases accessibility to a federal service and allows citizens to more easily interact with government. - Industry Innovation of the Year
Recognizes an individual’s innovation that increases accessibility to a federal service and allows citizens to more easily interact with government. - Fed IT Program of the Year
This award recognizes a new innovation or initiative that has significantly enhanced the efficiency or transparency of agency services through information technology. - Federal IT Leadership Award
Recognizes an individual that has lead agency IT initiatives with significant success in building new efficiencies and effective government services. - Industry IT Leadership Award
Recognizes an individual that has lead significant IT initiatives that have provided notable success in building new efficiencies and effective government services. - GoldenGov Award – Federal employee of 2012
Recognizes an individual that has distinguished themselves by making outstanding contributions to their agency. - GoldenGov Award – Industry employee of 2012
