NITAAC University’s initial courses focus on helping government employees use the agency’s governmentwide acquisition contracts for IT services.

NIH Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center leaders expect to run CIO-SP4 and its predecessor concurrently for one to two months once awarded.

The large governmentwide acquisition vehicles were again extended while CIO-SP4 challenges continue.

NITAAC is requesting to extend the existing vehicle, CIO-SP3, to Oct. 29, the agency confirmed.

NITAAC says it began sending Phase 1 notices earlier this month. Phases 2 and 3 are expected to be sent in coming weeks.

The National Institutes of Health will reevaluate the federal IT contractor’s self-scoring sheet as part of corrective action, according to court filings.

The complaint comes after the agency overseeing the CIO-SP4 solicitation recently committed to corrective action related to dozens of sustained bid protests.

According to a senior government official, 75 protests relating to CIO-SP4 currently remain open.

As part of the latest corrective action NITAAC will make a new phase one determination on highest rated offerors.
