GSA Awards Identity Management Contract

The General Services Administration has awarded HP a one-year contract to support the GSA Managed Service Office in handling the identities of more than 500,000 federal employees and contractors to more than 90 agencies.

The contract included two one-year option periods and is valued at $47 million if all options are exercised.

The GSA MSO USAccess program is a provider of Personal Identity Verification credentials to federal agencies. In addition to federal agencies that provide their own PIV credentials, the GSA MSO and HP will deliver identity credentials needed to help secure federal facilities, systems and applications as part of the HSPD-12 program, HP said.
