The General Services Administration has suspended a $60 billion contract indefinitely, according to an Oct. 7 notice in FedBizOpps.
The original deadline for the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services, known as OASIS, was Sept. 17 but was pushed back to Oct. 10. And now, because of the government shutdown, it has been postponed again.
A notice sent by GSA late Thursday said the proposal dates will be established within 10-14 calendar days after the shutdown is resolved.
GSA has been facing an uphill struggle with the OASIS contract. In late September, it faced its third protest filed by Aljucar, Anvil-Incus & Co. The protest was filed on the grounds that GSA is limiting the ability of small businesses to bid on OASIS.
The contract will include scientific, program management, logistics, engineering and financial services. GSA has described OASIS as a “next-generation contract vehicle for complex professional services.”
Interested parties should not submit proposals until proposal dates are re-established.
