Colin Crowell, a former Federal Communications Commission senior counselor, was named the head of global public policy of Twitter yesterday.
Crowell, who advised the FCC Commission’s office on the national broadband plan, had been running Crowell Strategies since leaving the federal government last year.
He spent the majority of his time on Capitol Hill as an aide to Rep. Ed Markey, working on telecommunications legislation.
