NIH Seeks Sources for Acquisition Support Services

The Office of the Chief Information Officer at the National Institutes of Health is looking for supplemental acquisition support services in a sources sought announcement posted on FedBizOps.

The objective is to acquire subject matter expertise in the specialized field of federal IT acquisitions to effectively support program and technical staff in processing complex enterprise-wide IT requirements through the entire acquisition life cycle process.

The contractor shall assist the OCIO in developing NIH-wide acquisition provisions and guidelines relative to the implementation of the information security requirements of the Federal Information Security Act of 2002, the Physical Security requirements of Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD)-12 and other federal policies and guidance affecting the acquisition of IT resources.
