The National Security Agency will award $84,000 in scholarships to winners of the 2011 Maryland Cyber Challenge, aimed at encouraging students to pursue degrees in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Teams of up to six will compete for scholarships and prizes in a series of real-world cybersecurity games that put critical thinking skills to the test. Winners will be honored at the Maryland Cyber Challenge & Conference next month in Baltimore.
