Social Security Administration CIO Frank Baitman will resign next month. SSA Deputy Commission for Systems Kelly Croft will assume CIO responsibilities.
The move comes about three weeks after the agency announced it will move the Innovation and Investment Management units, the Division of IT Strategy and function responsibility for Health IT out of Baitman’s office into the Office of Systems.

Baitman has been CIO at SSA since September of 2009. His last day with the agency will be August 19.
