Presidential Inauguration App (Source: PIC)Going to the inauguration? For the first time, there’s an app for that.
The Presidential Inauguration Committee on Monday released a mobile application for Inauguration Day, available on both iPhones and Androids.
The app features the ability to watch the ceremony on your mobile phone, a schedule of the day’s events, a map that lets people RSVP to meet at a certain location and historical information, such as a history of the U.S. Marine Band’s inaugural performance.
“That’s why we’ve designed our app to make sure folks across this country don’t miss a moment of history. Whether you’re in Washington, D.C. or any other part of the nation, there are plenty of ways to be involved in the inauguration through this app,” said PIC President and CEO Steve Kerrigan in a statement.
