The bipartisan legislation calls for a study from the departments of Energy, Interior and Agriculture into the impact AI data centers are having on rural areas.
The Consumer Safety Technology Act also calls for a Commerce-FTC study on how blockchain can protect consumers from fraud. The companion bill passed the House in July.
