Maj. Gen. Davis to be military advisor for cyber

Maj. Gen. John A. Davis will serve as the senior military advisor for cyber to the under secretary of defense for policy, the Department of Defense announced.

He previously served as the director of current operations for the U.S. Cyber Command.

Davis’ new assignment was one of four general officer announcements released by DOD on Wednesday.
