Brandon Pugh
Federal Leadership
Brandon Pugh advises the Army’s secretary and chief of staff on cyber readiness, budgets, capabilities and strategy. His position provides a direct voice on cyber matters at the service’s highest levels. Before taking the role, Pugh worked on emerging cyber and national security threats, data privacy and artificial intelligence at a Washington-based think tank. He also serves in the Army Reserve as a national security law professor and previously served as a paratrooper and international law officer. That mix of policy, legal and military experience informs his work connecting cybersecurity decisions with the Army’s operational needs.
