Cybersecurity Visionary
Lesley Bernys leads the Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center, which supports defense cyber operations and investigations through digital and multimedia forensics, vulnerability disclosure, training, technical solutions and analysis. Bernys came to the center after serving as chief information officer for the Air Force Office of Special Investigations. That combination of investigative and technology leadership informs his work at an organization that helps defense partners understand threats, examine digital evidence and strengthen their cyber capabilities. Bernys is guiding DC3 as its services become increasingly important to the department’s response to malicious activity across a complex digital environment.
