Forest Service Seeks Deputy CIO

The U.S. Forest Service is looking for a deputy chief information officer. The job pays between $113,735 and $147,857 per year and is based in Albuquerque, N.M. Submission deadline is November 21.

Participates in, and/or performs, the planning, design, implementation, and/or management of an agency-wide IT enterprise architectural framework that integrates, aligns, and streamlines business, application, information, and technology architectures to support the mission, strategies, goals, structure, and processes of the agency.

Performs surveys, studies, and evaluations to measure and improve program operations and results.

Provides advice and guidance when program interpretation, opinion, or decisions are solicited. Consultations involve assessment of program conditions, phenomena, or anomalies.
