Trump appoints GSA cyber and tech adviser
President Donald Trump appointed Corey Cooke as the senior adviser for cyber and technology to the administrator of the General Services Administration.
As senior adviser for cyber and technology, Cooke will “provide strategic guidance on policies and legislation related to GSA’s expanding technology transformation portfolio,” according to an agency announcement.
Cooke served in several capacities in the House of Representatives prior to this presidential appointment, including as counsel and deputy parliamentarian for the Oversight and Government Reform Committee.
“Cooke advised the committee chairman and members on antitrust, appropriations, budget, financial services, parliamentary procedure and regulatory issues,” the announcement says.
Cooke also served as counsel on the Committee on Small Business.
