Zachary Schwartz serves as the principal deputy assistant secretary for information and technology at VA. In the role, he helps oversee technology strategy, daily operations, cybersecurity, modernization and service delivery across a department that supports millions of veterans. He works within VA’s Office of Information and Technology alongside Deputy Secretary Paul Lawrence, who is performing the duties of the assistant secretary and CIO.
