CMS signs on to OASIS
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services signed a memorandum of understanding this week to utilize one of the General Services Administration’s larger contract vehicles.
CMS officials secured the use of the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services — better known as OASIS — and OASIS Small Business contracts for complex professional services procurement.
The indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contracts provide CMS with best in class-designated solutions, which offers governmentwide category management purchasing options.
“This MOU also expands our partnership with civilian agencies and is consistent with our goal of providing our partners in government with streamlined contracts that help them more effectively meet their mission requirements, while also eliminating costly duplicative contracts,” said Tiffany Hixson, GSA assistant commissioner for the Office of Professional Services and Human Capital Categories, in a statement.
Since its inception four years ago, OASIS has secured MOUs from several federal agencies, including the departments of Defense and Homeland Security.
The contract vehicle provides services for program management, logistics and financial operations, among other services.
