In conjunction with the CIO, has oversight responsibilities for all FEMA information systems from planning, budgeting, development, and operations in order to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996, Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002, President’s Management Agenda, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Management Directives, and other regulatory requirements. The incumbent works closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Procurement Officer, and is responsible for participating in the coordination and integration of policies, guidelines, procedures and activities to ensure effective, efficient and economical information management planning, acquisition and management in support of FEMA mission and objectives.
