Given yesterday’s earthquake, how’s this for timing?
The Centers for Disease and Control announced a new Are you Prepared? video contest asking citizens to make 60-second videos showing how to prepare for an emergency with the key message, “Get a Kit, Make a Plan, Be Informed.”
Individuals and groups can enter the contest and are encourages to use creative ways to prepare for an emergency.
Contestants must submit their video between August 29, 2011 and September 30. Winners will have their video posted on the CDC homepage (cdc.gov) and the CDC Emergency Page (emergency.cdc.gov) CDC StreamingHealth YouTube Channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/CDCStreamingHealth) to be seen by thousands of viewers.
