Dave Imbordino
Cybersecurity Visionary
Dave Imbordino leads the NSA’s Cybersecurity Directorate, which brings the agency’s expertise to the defense of national security systems and collaboration with government and industry partners. After serving as the directorate’s deputy and then acting chief, he took the permanent leadership role in 2026. Imbordino has held operational and leadership positions spanning cybersecurity, counterintelligence and other NSA missions. His current work includes addressing the scale of cyber threat data and exploring how artificial intelligence can help analysts identify the activity that most needs attention. He also serves as deputy national manager for national security systems.
