In addition to the leadership challenges the last 12 months brought, cybersecurity also re-emerged into the national spotlight, forcing agencies like DOJ to focus on “a sound cybersecurity posture and keeping abreast of the latest field trends,” Rogers said, calling cybersecurity and protecting DOJ’s assets one of her highest priorities. “At DOJ, our cybersecurity team is constantly adapting to the ever-changing threat landscape, especially on the heels of the SolarWinds incident, and the recent Executive Order on Improving the Nation’s Cybersecurity.”
