Children’s Inn at NIH Charity Gala (PHOTOS)

Federal technology leaders from both government and industry came together Saturday night for a black-tie gala at the Tysons Corner Ritz-Carlton to raise money for the Children’s Inn at the National Institute of Health.

The Inn offers a “place like home” for seriously ill children and their families, who are visiting NIH to undergo treatment for life-threatening diseases. Because the Inn does not receive any appropriated funds, it relies entirely on the generosity of outside donors like Bethesda AFCEA. Each year the chapter sponsors an annual gala and other fundraising events and donates the proceeds to the Children’s Inn.
